About The Position

Enchantment is seeking an outgoing, energetic, passionate, and authentic individual to join their team as a Staff Accountant specializing in Income Audit. This role involves performing daily accounting functions related to the accounting office and hotel operations, assisting in various areas to complete and improve the financial process. The position includes varied accounting functions such as income audit, daily cash, entry-level reconciliations, and other tasks related to accounting and accounting reporting. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred or equivalent work experience
• Appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize deadlines
• Accuracy with an eye for detail
• Strong Excel skills are critical
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well with others
• Able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality experience is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Maintain and balance automated systems for daily reporting
• Input data in various financial or similar systems
• Maintain proper documentation and organized files
• Answer accounting and financial questions
• Research and interpret data
• Provide daily reporting
• Utilize Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Compute accurate mathematical calculations
• Work closely with other departments to ensure proper recording of information
• Handle cash
• Troubleshoot common accounting problems
• Provide accounting support to multiple team members
• Create and maintain reports with speed and accuracy
• Handle confidential and sensitive financial information
• Other duties as assigned
