Requirements

Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
Team-first mentality and flexibility regarding job responsibilities to meet deliverables as a team
Organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to stay focused on big picture
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum 4 years of related experience required
Strong knowledge and proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.) is required.

Nice To Haves

MBA and/or CPA preferred
Advanced Excel or automation experience is a strong plus.
Experience with SAP preferred
Experience with inter-company accounting, consolidations, foreign currency reporting, and other areas of technical accounting
Experience working with a large or publicly traded company a strong plus

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/schedules
Perform monthly close activities timely, including variance analyses for assigned accounts
Lead projects, perform research and assist with reviewing reconciliations and journal entries prepared by staff accountants
Assist management with maintaining and implementing accounting policies and procedures
Support internal and external audit requests and deliverables
Implement process efficiencies wherever possible
Continuously develop skills to effectively leverage AI tools to improve business outcomes.
