About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global R2R Operations General Ledger Controllership team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Urbandale. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields
• 3+ years of accounting related experience
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both stakeholders and colleagues in a fast-moving professional team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including advanced Excel knowledge
• Ability to manage your work efficiently
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an accounting hub hybrid environment
• Communication experience with colleagues in global locations
• The ability to manage business process issues, resolving conflicts and ensure on-time delivery

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Prepare, review and/or approve journal entries
• Assist in the monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
• Analyze opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
• Perform other duties as assigned
