About The Position

Croí Health is a mission-driven, non-profit organization providing home health, palliative, hospice, and wellness services across 27 communities, from Milton to Plymouth. Consistently earning five-star CMS ratings, we lead with innovation, quality, and heart. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant I to join our finance team. This role will assist the Accounting Manager in maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and completing internal and external reporting requirements.

  • Sage Intacct experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking and recording financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support the month-end close including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Monitor/reconcile financial bank accounts, credit cards and other accounts accurately.
  • Oversee vendor information and update as needed, e.g. updated W-9s, COIs from Vendors.
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of annual IRS/regulatory forms related to vendors/accounts payable (e.g. 1099, W-9).
  • Assists with audits and external reporting.
  • Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure financial reporting is accurate and consistent.
  • Serves as backup to accounts payable.
  • Provide as backup to maintain/create monthly cash file for remote deposits and post cash transactions into Sage Intacct.
  • Provides Accounting support to Finance Management and assist as needed in any projects.
