To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists with month-end and year-end close for all corporate entities Uploads reoccurring, accruals, and other adjusting journal entries to General Ledger Reconciles daily corporate bank activity accurately and timely Prepares monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including cash Assists with inter-company monthly billing Resolves account discrepancies by researching and communicating effectively amongst internal departments Assists with internal and external auditors as needed Required to maintain functions in accordance with finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standards Keeps current any departmental check list or procedures NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times and maintains high morale. Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock. Qualifications: MINIMUM Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, as well as minimum three (3) or more years of accounting experience Experience with journal entries, and balance sheets reconciliations required Strong Excel knowledge required Must possess excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills. Knowledge of major accounting software packages. Must have knowledge of, and be able to apply, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). LANGUAGE SKILLS Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing. Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and others outside of the organization. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists. Ability to occasionally, move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requirements
