About The Position

OoohYeah Socks/OoohGeez Slippers/Sock It Up socks is hiring a Staff Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper/HR Helper. This role involves managing full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping, assisting with HR tasks, and working closely with the company CPA.

Requirements

Fluent English
5 years+ experience as accountant/full charge bookkeeper using Quick Books
Proficient in MS Excel, familiar with formulas like VLOOKUP etc.
Able to communicate complex data clearly
Proficient in Quickbooks
Excellent data entry skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

Knowing OMS is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
Record and reconcile Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, wholesale, and other sales transactions.
Handle AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations.
Reconcile marketplace payouts, fees, returns, refunds, and chargebacks.
Maintain inventory and COGS accounting.
Prepare journal entries and perform monthly closing.
Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports.
Review accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with payroll, sales tax, and year-end tax preparation.
Work with the company CPA and provide requested financial information.
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
Perform other accounting duties as needed.
Help with HR paperwork and other job duties when necessary.
