Our Enterprise practice provides specialized accounting, financial statement services (reviews and compilations), tax services (personal and corporate taxes), and business advisory services to privately owned businesses and individuals. Requirements

  • A university degree in accounting, or a college diploma in accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to liaise with clients, staff and outside parties
  • Team player qualities
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Caseware and iFirm or Taxprep considered an asset
  • Accounting software knowledge with Sage or similar would be considered an asset
  • Investment accounting experience would be considered an asset
  • 1-3 years of work in an accounting position would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Prepare review and compilation engagements in Caseware
  • Prepare adjusting entries and financial statements
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and liaise with our tax professionals
  • Assist managers with client meeting preparation
  • Working on Canada Revenue Agency queries and online activity
  • Respond to other duties as required
