About The Position

The Staff Accountant 3 works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting and at least five years of related work experience. Hospital or healthcare accounting experience is preferred. The position involves analyzing complex accounting issues, identifying relevant facts, and communicating resolutions verbally and in writing. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, flexible in prioritizing work, able to work independently and as part of a team, and comfortable interfacing with management at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Must be a team-oriented problem-solver.
• Must have experience working with all levels of management.
• Must be able to work independently, analyze complex accounting issues, identify relevant facts, and communicate problematic resolutions verbally and in writing.
• Must be detail-oriented and flexible in prioritizing workload.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to interface with a multidisciplinary management staff.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital or healthcare accounting experience.
• Experience with accounting software; Workday preferred.
• Experience with budget software; Strata preferred.
• Advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables.
