About The Position

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking Stacking Operators for 3rd Shift to join their team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN. This role involves working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may be loud and contain dust and debris. The operator will perform various tasks related to bagging and boxing operations, including setting up and operating bagging machines, handling parts and materials, and packing parts using hand tools and various packing materials. Safety procedures, proper handling of finished parts, and quality checks are essential. The job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, including reporting early, working late, and weekends.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation as you will frequently and repetitively be required to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and/or sit and reach with hands and arms.
• May occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment.
• Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear required hearing and/or eye protection.

Nice To Haves

• Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
• (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Responsibly for quality inspection
• Will operator power forklift
• Responsibility for correctly warehousing/ storing finished goods
• Assists with any other manual labor tasks as needed.
