About The Position

The Stacker is responsible for securely banding completed garage door sections or full doors into bundles and stacking them for storage, quality inspection, or shipping preparation. This position ensures safe handling, proper organization, and damage-free packaging supporting efficient warehouse flow and on-time delivery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
Basic math skills, including the ability to count accurately and perform simple calculations.
Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and production documents.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and overhead lifting.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Willingness to learn new tasks and participate in job rotation as needed.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Experience operating banding, packaging, or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Stack completed garage door sections and finished doors according to established procedures and quality standards.
Safely band, package, and secure products for storage, transport, and shipment.
Verify product quantities, specifications, and identification markings to ensure accuracy.
Inspect products for visible defects or damage and report quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
Apply proper labels, tags, and documentation to finished products.
Operate packaging and banding equipment according to safety and operational guidelines.
Assist with moving materials and retrieving required supplies from designated storage areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet daily output requirements.
Support cross-training and assist in other production areas as needed.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
