About The Position

The Stacker Labor employee is responsible for stacking, organizing, and preparing packaged product for palletizing and further processing. This position supports continuous product flow, packaging efficiency, and workplace safety while maintaining compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment. The work environment involves direct work with packaged fresh product in temperature-controlled environments, adherence to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards, and wearing required PPE. The role is essential to maintaining packaging efficiency, load stability, and safe production operations at the Plant.

Responsibilities

  • Stack packaged product onto pallets or designated staging areas according to specifications
  • Ensure proper stacking patterns, alignment, and stability of product loads
  • Monitor product flow to prevent backups, damage, or mis-stacking
  • Remove damaged or defective packages from the line and report issues
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas around stacking and palletizing stations
  • Assist with pallet changes, slip sheets, and load preparation
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
  • Use proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices
  • Communicate effectively with line operators and supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures.
