About The Position

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our operations team as Stackers and Dumpers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that fresh produce is carefully handled, accurately packed, safely stacked, and efficiently moved through the production process. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining food safety and quality standards. Shift flexibility is required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in produce handling, warehouse, or food processing preferred.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold storage and production areas).
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain quality and food safety standards.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and bend frequently as required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English (Spanish bilingual a plus), preferred.
  • Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and safety practices.
  • Fast-paced production facility handling perishable fresh produce.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold storage, refrigerated, and damp environments.
  • Frequent interaction with conveyors, pallet jacks, shrink wrap equipment, and other production machinery.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required (e.g., gloves, hairnets).
  • Work may involve exposure to moisture, organic materials, and routine sanitation chemicals.
  • Noise levels may vary depending on production activity.
  • Shift flexibility is preferred.
  • Overtime available and job involves working weekends and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements for packing, stacking, and sorting tasks.
  • Manual dexterity required to handle produce, labeling, and packaging materials.
  • Ability to maintain pace with production line speed.
  • Visual ability to inspect produce for quality, defects, and foreign materials.
  • Minimum High School Education / G.E.D. preferred or applicable certification
  • Understanding of Produce Standards, and or basic produce experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely stack packed cartons or crates onto pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Wrap and secure pallets to ensure safe transport and minimize product damage.
  • Follow stacking patterns to optimize space, air flow and maintain load stability.
  • Load and dump raw produce onto conveyors, hoppers, or processing lines.
  • Monitor product flow and remove foreign materials or defective items.
  • Ensure dumping is done safely to prevent bruising, damage, or product falling on the floor.
