Stabilization Caseworker
About The Position
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Stabilization Caseworker to join their Diversion, Shelter and Housing (DSH) division. This role actively supports the agency's philosophy and requires a high level of commitment to program families. The primary focus is to assist families recently placed in permanent housing to maintain the stability of their tenancies. Additionally, the caseworker provides a supportive relationship to clients needing services for mental health, substance use, and other collateral issues, and works with families and staff to ensure compliance with HomeBASE regulations and program guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check
- Approved criminal background check (CORI)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred
Responsibilities
