Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical stability testing or related analytical roles.
  • Strong foundation in scientific principles relevant to stability science.
  • Proven expertise in handling and interpreting complex stability data and generating detailed reports.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced capabilities in Excel (including v-lookups, h-lookups, macros, and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and oversee stability studies that incorporate both innovative accelerated models and conventional protocols to ensure product quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, quality assurance, regulatory teams, and other stakeholders to optimize and innovate stability testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Analyze and interpret complex stability data using advanced analytical and data visualization tools to identify novel degradation pathways, stability indicators, and actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine comprehensive stability protocols, reports, and study designs by integrating real-world environmental variables, advanced statistical approaches, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple stability projects to meet deadlines while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Processing and testing of stability samples to guarantee that they continue conform to specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepares diluents, solutions, reagents, etc. in accordance with approved SOPs, Component Specifications, Method Specifications, Protocols, and/or compendia to expedite laboratory testing.
  • Participates in consumable management, by performing ordering in Ariba and receipt management in LIMs.
  • Ensures glassware cleaning is completed to support required laboratory operations and testing.
  • Perform instrument calibrations, preventative maintenance, and daily checks in LIMS as trained.
  • Reviews and/or assists in writing SOP’s and laboratory investigations.
  • Follows cGMP’s and safety regulations.
  • Maintains an environment of respect and teamwork with all coworkers.

  • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $61,880.00 - $87,360.00
