About The Position

The SSC Electrician performs electrical work and preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment. This role involves repairing various electrical components and systems, installing new electrical equipment according to blueprints, and meticulously documenting all work performed and materials utilized. The position requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of electrical experience
• Understanding and ability to adhere to safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems on equipment, and change contact tips
• Ability to use meters, wrenches and sockets, basic hand tools, hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools
• Ability to withstand heights for working on cranes
• Ability to drive a forklift

• Ability to operate lifts

Responsibilities

• Performing electrical work and preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment
• Repairing cranes, starters, conveyer belts, single phase and three phase motors, and any other pieces of equipment
• Installing breakers, light fixtures, wiring, outlets, and other electrical equipment based on technical blueprints and job orders
• Documenting all work completed and materials used
