Requirements
- Requires ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
- Stands, walks, bends and reaches continuously.
- Handles heavy and medium-weight material, equipment and supplies.
- Is normally exposed to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes and odors indoors and outdoors.
- Occasionally exposed to the possibility of contacts with infection and infectious diseases.
Responsibilities
- Provides housekeeping services, including light and heavy cleaning, in the Hospital and Medical Center facilities.
- May use commercial-type equipment including vacuums, scrubbing machines, strippers, waxers and buffers.
- Requires the ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
- Stands, walks, bends and reaches continuously.
- Handles heavy and medium-weight material, equipment and supplies.
- Is normally exposed to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes and odors indoors and outdoors.
- Candidates must be available for rotating shifts, and every other weekend and holiday.
