The SRT Concept Propulsion Engineer is responsible for transforming advanced propulsion ideas into technically feasible, CAD-driven concepts that support the development of high-performance powertrain systems. This role operates at the earliest stages of product development, where engine architecture, component packaging, airflow management, thermal strategy, and system integration are defined. The SRT Concept Propulsion Engineer collaborates across propulsion, calibration, CAE, manufacturing, and vehicle engineering teams to establish the technical foundation for future SRT propulsion programs. The SRT Concept Propulsion Engineer defines the future of high-performance propulsion systems before detailed design begins. The concepts developed in this role drive critical decisions affecting horsepower, torque, thermal performance, mass, manufacturability, cost, and overall vehicle capability. The ideal candidate combines creativity with sound engineering judgment, balancing bold performance-focused ideas with practical technical execution to help shape the next generation of SRT engines and propulsion technologies.
