About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SRE / Software Engineer with a strong background in both Site Reliability Engineering and software development. This role involves a blend of SRE responsibilities (60%) and software engineering tasks (40%). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD automation, and scripting languages like Python. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, incident resolution, and ensuring the scalability, security, resiliency, and reliability of our systems. Experience with Agile methodologies, TDD, and the full SDLC is essential. This role also requires comfort with on-call rotations and weekend deployment support.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Software Engineering / SRE experience.
• Strong hands-on SRE and software engineering background.
• Significant AWS exposure.
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation and Jenkins.
• Experience with Unix or Python scripting.
• Experience in application development and production support.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Strong understanding of scalability, security, resiliency, and reliability principles.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and SDLC.
• Strong hands-on coding experience.
• Comfortable with on-call rotations.
• Willingness to support weekend deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform SRE duties, focusing on reliability, scalability, security, and resiliency.
• Engage in software engineering tasks, including application development and production support.
