About The Position

WSP is seeking a Sr. Water Resources Project Manager with extensive experience in the Water Industry for its South Florida offices. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team focused on municipal water/wastewater projects, including pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, rehabilitation, stormwater, and water resources projects. The role also involves supporting transportation projects. This is a practice-building position that includes business development activities to nurture and grow existing clients, develop new clients and sub-consultants, and manage key client projects. The role will provide overall leadership to the South Florida Water business line in collaboration with other local business line leaders. Key areas of focus include leveraging technical experience, fostering innovation, advancing strategic direction for growth, and promoting staff development. The position emphasizes client-centricity, utilizing WSP's global reach for innovative client delivery, and providing civic and industry leadership. It also involves attracting top talent by fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment that encourages creative thinking, and emphasizing employee training, development, and wellness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant post education experience in water resources engineering.
  • Professional License
  • Strong business development with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Florida.
  • Experience with change management.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
