Sr. VMWare Virtualization Engineer - TS/SCI
About The Position
This role requires an experienced IT Systems Engineer with specialized knowledge and skills in designing, implementing, and sustaining hyper-converged enterprise infrastructure solutions. The position is located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The current USSTRATCOM Enterprise virtualization utilizes Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform, and experience with current versions of VCF is essential. Additionally, experience with Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies, including Horizon, App Volumes, and Workspace ONE, is required. An active intermediate-level or higher certification, such as VMware Certified Professional or an equivalent from other virtualization vendors, is also a requirement.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer
- Specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with designing, implementing and sustaining hyper-converged Enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Experience with current versions of Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform
- Experience with Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies to include Horizon, App Volumes and Workspace ONE
- An active intermediate –level or higher certification such as VMware Certified Professional or equivalent certification from other virtualization vendors
