Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Commercial P&C Underwriting, including product nuances, compliance, and risk management.
• Proficient negotiation and insurance underwriting skills.
• Adaptable and able to thrive within the ever-evolving market.
• Sharp analytical skills to navigate financial statements and complex data.
• Significant broker communication , networking, and relationship-building aptitude.
• Disciplined focus on execution, accuracy, and follow-through with a sense of urgency.
• Outstanding verbal & written communication, organizationa l, and time management talents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal submissions within your assigned territory to ensure profitable growth.
• Creatively evaluate alternative ways to make a risk acceptable through critical thinking.
• Bring our brand to life by ensuring consistent and impactful communication of our products and services to agents, retail, and wholesale brokers.
• Expand agent relationships through education, coaching, and training in underwriting procedures, philosophy, and new products.
• Representing Farm Family in client, agent, and broker meetings, demonstrating expertise and elevating the customer experience.
• Build and manage a strong submission pipeline aligned with production goals and business mix targets.
• Leverage market insights , using your contacts to generate business, gather intelligence, and cross-sell complementary products.
