As part of Amazon Delivery's PRISM (Central TPM) organization, the position will be responsible to launch new strategic products in driver experience, routing, compliance and other spaces. You will be partnering with our business and technical teams in NA, EU and APAC to understand their needs and develop the right business models and products to achieve them.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Strong program management background
  • Demonstrated experience leading large to extra-large projects
  • Well-rounded technical background
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
  • Ability to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Be the single threaded leader owning programs to deliver complex projects across multiple Director/VP organizations.
  • Identify business and tech requirements.
  • Partner with various stakeholders.
  • Write specifications.
  • Scope projects.
  • Drive project schedules from design to release.
  • Manage the production launch.
  • Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal science, operations, product, and engineering teams.
  • Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
  • Own communication through various stages of the product life-cycle.
