The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support various WAN and LAN networks. This role will provide incident resolution, routing changes, and firewall changes. The technician will act as a subject matter expert in WAN and LAN technologies and support intra- and inter-net and other data communications systems or segments of networked systems. The job duties include supporting the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices, responding to and resolving incident tickets, and drafting and implementing standard network change requests. The role also involves providing support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects, performing configuration management functions, and coordinating network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. Additionally, the technician will configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching, perform COMSEC custodian duties, and support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of encryption devices.
