The Sr. Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's (BMS) unique customer model, aimed at delivering impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs) and driving the adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. The primary function of the TAS is to generate demand for BMS products within their assigned portfolio. This is achieved by engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through in-depth scientific dialogue consistent with product labels, leveraging new working methods, and utilizing the CE^3 platform. The role involves building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum, serving as their primary point of contact. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to enhance the overall Customer Experience (Cx) by addressing HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results, performance objectives, and embodying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, with an anticipated 100% of their time spent interacting with external customers.
