Sr. Test Automation Framework Engineer - Appium / Squish
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Framework Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Airline CATP test automation across Crew, Maintenance, and Passenger-facing applications. The role requires strong expertise in Python-based automation, UI and API testing, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with AI experts to support intelligent test generation and optimization. The purpose of this requirement is to strengthen automated testing capabilities for airline CATP platforms by building robust, scalable, and AI-enabled automation frameworks that improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall product quality.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, PyTest, and test automation frameworks
- Expertise in UI automation tools: Appium, Applitools, Playwright, Squish
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of Docker and virtualized environments
- Proficiency with Linux command-line tools
- Experience with API testing using JMeter and POSTMAN
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Airline CATP test automation Domain
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automation test scripts using Python, PyTest, and related frameworks
- Automate CATP test cases across Crew, Maintenance, and Passenger UIs
- Work within existing automation architecture and adhere to coding standards
- Implement UI automation using Appium, Applitools, Playwright, and Squish
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab
- Perform API testing using JMeter and POSTMAN
- Utilize Docker and virtual environments to simulate test scenarios
- Execute and troubleshoot test cases on Linux systems
- Collaborate with AI experts to validate and implement AI-generated test cases
- Share execution results and feedback to improve AI test models
- Conduct unit and integration testing of automation scripts
- Maintain documentation for test cases, frameworks, and integrations
