About The Position

A key contributor to the overall unified customer experience of U.S. Bank. Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service in accordance with U.S. Bank’s Core Values. Accountable for sales and service activities in all Consumer Banking and Branch Delivery branch locations (Metro, Community, and In-Store On-Site). Responsible for handling routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, payment, etc.), while ensuring a positive interaction with customers/non-customers. Identify customer needs and recommends U.S. Bancorp products as appropriate. Follows established policies and procedures while processing transactions in an effort to mitigate risk. Bilingual Teller’s perform these responsibilities in the languages deemed essential within a particular branch or community

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience as a teller
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• May be required to stand for extended periods of time
• May be required to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 lbs
