About The Position

Join EMC as a Senior Technology Security Engineer and become the subject matter expert driving the evolution of our enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) program. Own the end-to-end design, implementation, and support of the Idira Identity Security Platform (formerly CyberArk), partnering with diverse teams to safeguard critical infrastructure. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the intersection of engineering and risk, offering visibility, autonomy, and a clear path for professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years in Information Security, IAM, or related roles (4+ years specifically in security; Master’s + 6 years considered)
• Expert, hands-on experience with Idira Identity Security Platform (CyberArk)
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID administration, and IAM concepts (RBAC, MFA, SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Graph API, and Python scripting
• Strong fundamentals in Windows and Linux administration
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Discretion with sensitive terminations and account changes

Nice To Haves

• Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, Security+, CEH, GSEC, AWS, Azure
• Experience with SailPoint, AWS (IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3), Azure, GCP
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Atlassian Suite, SharePoint
• Prior experience in the insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Engineer and lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Idira/CyberArk across servers, services, and cloud environments.
• Serve as the PAM SME, collaborating with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to secure privileged accounts and define access strategies.
• Lead complex enterprise security projects—assess impacts, drive deliverables, and shape the identity security roadmap.
• Identify, document, and recommend treatment for IT security risks; coordinate remediation and manage risk/audit communications.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting, delivering knowledge-transfer to engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Automate event handling processes and maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee security tool and vendor management, including procurement, renewals, and roadmap reviews.
