Meet the team: Dexcom is a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you work with leading-edge, software teams to ensure the security of modern diabetes medical device systems. You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate cybersecurity professionals who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. For this role, you would be joining Dexcom's Research and Development Cybersecurity team to help design and implement new applications and features for Dexcom's medical device platforms. Where you come in: You will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing the documents detailing the technical implementation of security and privacy requirements for internal and external development teams; internal and external auditors; and regulatory bodies or customers requiring disclosure of our practices. You manage coordination with Cyber architects, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the completion of the documents. You will develop technical data-flow diagrams in conjunction with peer technical writers and engineering leads to achieve a shared understanding of proposed architectural designs. You will be responsible for writing technical and non-technical overview descriptions of components and services that provide stakeholders with a summary of system architecture and other program decisions. Ensure all deliverables maintain a simple, succinct content flow with correct grammar and spelling. You manage coordination with Cyber stakeholders, including development teams, to understand their documentation needs from our team and ensure the documentation is of an appropriate level of thoroughness.

Requirements

  • Solid proficiency in MS Word (including Styles and Template development), Excel, and Lucid Chart
  • Results-oriented, self-disciplined, fast-paced, motivated individual that requires minimal supervision
  • Proactive and employ efficient research practices to quickly understand program complexity and escalate risks and roadblocks accurately
  • Excellent project management skills to effectively organize and prioritize tasks among multiple projects
  • Like to collaborate with various subject matter experts from Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Verification &Validation, Document Control, and Program Management
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and accuracy
  • Familiar with SDLC model, threat modeling, and risk assessments
  • Skill to handle pressure and meet multiple deadlines while prioritizing them.
  • Learn new processes quickly in a rapidly developing environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude, allowing you to understand complex processes and concepts.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5- 8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
