About The Position

Pointr is a leader in Indoor Mapping, Location, and Analytics, seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager for its rapidly growing healthcare vertical. This role involves end-to-end delivery ownership for healthcare projects and programs, including large, multi-site initiatives, and serving as the strategic lead for the vertical. The Sr. TPM will prioritize projects, standardize delivery processes, and manage resource allocation. This is a player-coach role, requiring both direct project management and leadership of other TPMs who rotate onto healthcare projects. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive client success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT project management or technical consultancy experience in a hardware or software company
  • 5+ years leading programs supporting multiple client implementations simultaneously, successfully, at speed.
  • 3+ years experience working in the health care industry with hands-on exposure to health IT, EHR integration (Epic in particular), RTLS, hospital facilities operations, patient experience initiatives, or hospital network teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to move in a fast-paced environment, learning on the job while juggling multiple deliveries.
  • Experience leading the delivery and support phases of the customer lifecycle.
  • A self-starter by nature with applied knowledge of agile software development processes and a strong interest in learning about indoor location technology
  • High-performer with an exceptional record of getting things done in a fast-paced, analytical environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to solve problems and foster relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Process-oriented with an eye for detail and improvements
  • Experience managing or mentoring other project or program managers in a matrixed or player-coach capacity.
  • Experience delivering large-scale, multi-site, or multi-customer programs.

Nice To Haves

  • BS or MS degree in a relevant technology or management field (Computer Science is a plus)
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Google Suite, MS Office, MS Project)
  • Project Management Professional® (PMP) / Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program focused on delivery of all projects for the healthcare vertical, managing and reviewing project needs, client value, and determining priority across all projects.
  • Standardize delivery processes for the healthcare vertical.
  • Work closely with account owners and delivery team leads to track resource availability and effectiveness.
  • Track and report on resource utilization and limitations, escalating for resolution.
  • Own requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and deployment support for global clients and partners.
  • Ensure timely, efficient delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with clients and delivery team members to rapidly and accurately deliver Pointr products and services.
  • Review and identify Delivery Organization process improvements focusing on shortening the effort and duration of delivery activities.
  • Work with clients to identify and resolve mapping and wayfinding issues, coordinating with technical teams.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Pointr products to provide direct support and problem resolution for map, wayfinding, and integration solutions.
  • Proactively partner with commercial and technical stakeholders, educating them on Pointr’s solutions and deployment process.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and deployment managers to integrate Pointr’s technology with client applications.
  • Investigate and diagnose hardware and software challenges with delivery teams to ensure solution quality and sustainability.
  • Facilitate client status meetings to manage the scope and schedule of multiple, concurrent deployments.
  • Learn and master Pointr’s product suite to understand client use cases and supplement the product roadmap.
  • Engage in proactive and timely communication with clients.
  • Set priority across all healthcare vertical projects based on project needs, client value, and delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate and support other TPMs rotating onto healthcare projects.
  • Standardize delivery processes across the healthcare vertical.
  • Track and report on resource utilization and limitations across the portfolio, escalating for resolution.
  • Partner with hospital IT, network, and facilities teams.
  • Support EHR integration work (Epic in particular), RTLS, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client-side executives across the healthcare portfolio.
