About The Position
Join CJ Schwan’s, a leader in manufacturing and marketing quality foods, as a Sr Technical Maintenance Manager at our egg roll food manufacturing factory in the Houston, TX area. You will lead our team members in Pasadena and Deer Park, overseeing plant leadership and ensuring safe and efficient operations. CJ Schwan’s is a U.S. affiliate of the global lifestyle brand CJ CheilJedang Corporation, known for beloved brands like Red Baron®, Tony’s®, Big Daddy’s®, Villa Prima™, Freschetta® pizzas, bibigo®, Pagoda® Asian-style snacks, and Mrs. Smith’s® and Edwards® pies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance leadership experience, in food manufacturing preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on accountability and ownership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Flexible, hands-on leader capable of supporting all shifts.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all work and equipment is performed in a safe manner, all PPE is worn as necessary, and all employees receive proper safety training in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal OSHA rules and regulations.
- Lead the entire maintenance team and disciplines, covering multiple shifts, fostering development through mentoring and training.
- Drive equipment reliability and uptime through root cause analysis (RCA), preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage maintenance activities, capital projects, and process optimization to support operational goals and maximize asset utilization.
- Collaborate with production, FSQ, continuous improvement, and safety teams to resolve equipment and facility issues efficiently.
- Monitor performance using operational, quality, and MES/SAP data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure cost-effective solutions.
