About The Position

Lead Java Full Stack with SRE skills. This role involves owning non-production environment health end-to-end, including availability, readiness, and stability. Responsibilities include maintaining an environment usage calendar, enforcing environment readiness checklists, triaging and classifying non-production issues, and ensuring all non-production defects are logged appropriately. The role also focuses on monitoring and observability using tools like Splunk/New Relic, correlating logs, monitoring CI/CD pipelines, and validating non-production stability before production promotions. Additionally, it involves managing integrations and dependencies, maintaining non-production runbooks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding non-production blockers and issues. The goal is to identify recurring failure patterns, drive root cause fixes, and automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities

Own non-prod environment health end-to-end — availability, readiness, and stability.
Maintain environment usage calendar to prevent team conflicts and scheduling collisions.
Enforce "environment ready" checklists before every sprint cycle or test phase.
Triage, classify, and route all non-prod issues with defined severity and SLA targets.
Ensure every non-prod defect is logged in GAB3 with env labels, sprint links, and owners.
Maintain Splunk/New Relic dashboards for non-prod error rates, slow transactions, and health checks.
Correlate logs across services using trace/session IDs to accelerate QA debugging.
Monitor CI/CD pipeline runs and flag failed or partial deployments immediately.
Validate non-prod stability before approving any promotion to production.
Monitor Epic/Cerner FHIR sandbox health and coordinate certificate renewals proactively.
Manage third-party stubs and sandbox availability to prevent test execution blocks.
Maintain non-prod runbooks — restarts, cache clears, data reseeds, pipeline retriggers.
Deliver daily non-prod blocker summaries to Scrum Masters, Release Managers, and POs.
Own the escalation path when non-prod issues threaten the release timeline.
Identify recurring non-prod failure patterns and drive root cause fixes over workarounds.
Convert non-prod operational pain points into actionable GAB3 backlog items.
Automate environment health checks, data resets, and smoke tests to reduce manual toil.
