About The Position

The Sr Technical Business Analyst will drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. This role involves determining and developing user requirements for systems in production, ensuring maximum usability. The analyst will partner with stakeholders across various business units, including operations, finance, clinical, support, and billing, to develop analyses and documentation collaboratively. Effective and efficient communication with production, managerial, and executive teams is crucial. The position requires analyzing data from multiple systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Electronic Health Records, Billing, and Logistics to identify trends and correlations that can increase organizational efficiency. The analyst will work with relational and non-relational data sources (SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint, etc.) and visualize data using platforms like Crystal Reports, Tableau, and Power BI. Presenting data and collaborating with shareholders to test process changes and drive performance are key responsibilities. Punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism, effective communication, confidentiality, sound judgment, adaptability, flexibility, adherence to safety and compliance protocols, accountability, and compliance with the Code of Conduct are essential. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive business or technical analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated enterprise systems experience.
  • Advanced SQL and data analysis expertise.
  • Strong experience with enterprise BI tools.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes without direct supervisory authority.
  • Must always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships across disparate groups to organize and facilitate decisions and ensure implementation.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EMS and/or healthcare industry, including operational, financial, and clinical functions preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare, EMS, or public safety operations preferred.
