About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging deep technical understanding of signal characteristics to determine compliance during processing, collection, and retention of signals. This includes leveraging compliant practices on how signal parameters are identified and defined, and in how signal behavior is captured within the RF and digital domains. The role also requires understanding compliance implications in TechSIGINT operations and follow-on analytic activities in either ELINT, FISINT, PROFORMA, or COMEXT. The Level 3 Sr. TechSIGINT Analyst SME shall possess capabilities to capture and refine system requirements to promote a strong alignment of stakeholder needs with development activities, perform user and group training, and provide services in the development of training materials. They will also participate in outreach activities to grow the product user community, provide services in the development and execution of requirements, test plans, and training to ensure compliance of TechSIGINT applications, and complete tasks using legacy TechSIGINT applications. The candidate will independently complete assignments with minimal day-to-day instruction or supervision, communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely and professionally, and exercise independent judgment in selecting and applying appropriate work methods, procedures, techniques, and practices in accomplishing duties. Additionally, they will train new team members, complete non-routine and complex assignments, build and utilize collaborative networks with key contacts within and outside of the organization to complete tasks, and explain technical, procedural, specialized, and legal information to non-experts.

Requirements

  • A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope polygraph is required to be considered.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree, or eight (8) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or six (6) years of relevant experience and a Master's Degree.
  • Two (2) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree for a total of 12 years.
  • Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field.
  • A broader range of degrees will be considered for those who have completed a relevant military training program for example, 9141 (Navy Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 1N2A (Air Force Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst), 451/461 (Intermediate Signals Analysis), 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis), or Military Signals Analysis Program (MSAP).
  • Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT or PROFORMA), or design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic or industrial systems.
