Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Controls experience
- Knowledge with Allen Bradley Controls (AB) and PLCs
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree
- 4+ years of Controls experience within the Food Manufacturing industry
- 3+ years of AB and PLC experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and control components)
- Maintain and monitor the performance of the control systems
- Perform complex and specialized PLC programs and technical support
- Evaluate and recommend system upgrades
- Design process control system
- Develop and document the troubleshooting strategies of the logic controls
- Work and elaborate with the electrical & control contractors through the company related projects
- Assist managers and others in creating training curricula, materials, documentation
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project managers for the resolution of complex engineering project controls issues
- Ability to sketch new blueprints and necessary drawings
- Solve the PLC programming issues
- Solve the problems of the control logics
- Provide technical support for maintenance employees
