About The Position

Purpose Works with system level senior & executive clients to investigate & assess key issues, develop hypotheses & frameworks, conduct qualitative & quantitative analyses, identify viable business strategies & synthesize findings. Provide function specific consulting services for national initiatives, system level services and/or one or more Trinity Health (typically multi-state) Service Areas. Serves as a subject matter expert for all Trinity Health talent management work including talent review, succession planning & facilitating the advancement of talent across Trinity Health. Serves as the resident expert for purposes of establishing evidence-based processes & tools as well as the lead expert for facilitating the implementation of that work to the most senior level executives at Trinity Health. Guides other talent professionals across Trinity in applying these concepts to their local work. Establishes outcome goals and measures those to demonstrate the value of talent management. Consulting Services: Provides expertise and guidance for the consulting process and practice with a focus on enabling system-ness in area of expertise (project planning & administration, data management & analysis, decision support, client communications & consulting deliverables for practice area of expertise.). Partners with identified talent & executive leadership to ensure colleagues have a comprehensive & seamless experience& that organizational goals are met through focused talent management strategies. Measures the efficiency, effectiveness and outcomes of talent management programs and communicates these results to the organization. Integrate TMCE methodologies and priorities with corollary functional work (strategic planning, diversity & inclusion, colleague & labor relations, talent acquisition & talent development). Supports Mergers, Divestitures & Acquisition (MD&A) by participating in due diligence, planning and integration of talent management programs and incorporation of existing talent pools. Talent Management Solutions: Works across the system to collaboratively embed system-level talent management methodologies into local practices. Establishes & owns best practice evidence-based processes & tools for defining & validating talent management standards, policies & approaches based on established philosophy & strategy, including (but not limited to) talent analysis, identifying critical positions, calibrating talent, socializing talent decisions, facilitating movement of talent, & supporting strategic plan talent needs. Facilitate Talent Management Functions: Collaborate with executive leaders to maintain shared accountability for executive level talent management programs through strategic alignment and day to day management of these programs. Brokers the talent exchange between managers seeking talent and mangers of talent being sought. Coach & Mentor: Provide coaching / mentoring to leaders & other consultants in approaches & methodologies to enhance employee value proposition. Expand influence & depth of partnership with clients & stakeholders in alignment with organizational strategy & culture. Builds talent management competency in other Trinity Health practitioners by guiding their application of talent management work, leading train-the-trainer activities, and fostering on-going skill development. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state & local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of conduct, as well as other policies & procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 7+ years progressively more responsible/complex consulting in human resource management or talent management in multi-unit business and/or healthcare

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or other advanced degree
  • Experience consulting across multiple industries, including healthcare, preferred.
