About The Position

The Senior Talent Development & Leadership Consultant serves as a strategic talent advisor to business leaders, Human Resources Business Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders helping translate enterprise talent strategies, frameworks, and development solutions into practical actions that strengthen organizational capability and business performance. This role helps leaders diagnose capability needs, strengthen leadership and team effectiveness, advance succession readiness, and implement development strategies that accelerate employee growth and organizational performance. The consultant applies talent and leadership development solutions within assigned lines of business, advises leaders on talent-related opportunities and risks, facilitates development-focused discussions, and activates talent strategies that improve leadership effectiveness, team performance, succession readiness, and employee growth. Working in close partnership with HRBPs and Talent & Organizational Development colleagues, this role ensures enterprise talent practices are meaningfully adopted, aligned to business priorities, and translated into measurable workforce outcomes.

Requirements

  • Ability to consult effectively with leaders, Human Resources Business Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to diagnose business needs and recommend talent solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of leadership development, talent management, succession planning, talent planning, team effectiveness, and organizational capability-building practices.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret talent insights, assessments, feedback, and organizational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of manager effectiveness, leadership capability, team effectiveness, change readiness, and successor development practices.
  • Ability to apply enterprise frameworks and methodologies to address business-specific capability needs.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consulting engagements in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to connect talent and development strategies to measurable business outcomes.
  • High degree of judgment, credibility, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive talent information.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders, facilitating strategic discussions, and implementing capability-building solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, design, and facilitate BOK Financial management and leadership programs.
  • Assess organizational needs and design or implement curriculum to enhance managers' knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
  • Align performance and learning solutions with the organization’s leadership framework competencies.
  • Research, monitor, and evaluate the results of programs.
  • Partner with clients to develop learning strategies aligned with business goals and the BOK Financial competency model.
  • Partner with HRBPs to develop and deliver retention strategies across BOKF.
