Sr Systems Verification Engineer

Starkey•Eden Prairie, MN

About The Position

Starkey is hiring a Sr Systems Verification Engineer to define, document, perform, and analyze verification tests for hearing aids, accessories, manufacturing and fitting software, mobile applications, programmers, components, and subsystems. The role focuses on ensuring product-system performance, resolving technical issues, improving test procedures, and supporting engineering design teams. It primarily supports new product development and may also support continuation engineering and technology development. The engineer collaborates with systems design and verification engineers and cross-functional teams, including clinical research, quality, and manufacturing. Responsibilities include maintaining traceability between test procedures and requirements; documenting test configurations and results; reviewing test coverage and results; and presenting test reports when requested. The role also advances test automation, including developing and validating automated tests, software, user guides, test stations, and fixtures, and supporting staff who use them. The position supports products from development through manufacturing and continuation. This includes preparing Alpha/Pilot devices, providing technical support during Alpha/Pilot and Beta studies and product ramp-up, investigating and owning system-level issues, and contributing to reviews of requirements, test plans, procedures, and results. The engineer works with general supervision, may provide work direction to technicians, and supports process improvement and lean product development efforts.
