The Sr. Systems Sales Engineer will be part of the Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at Nutanix, a dynamic group based in Los Angeles. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with 3+ years as a Presales Engineer
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems and developing solution strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience with data center and cloud technologies, specifically in storage, virtualization, and automation frameworks
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Desire to learn, mentor others, and maintain high ethics and integrity in professional conduct

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and create tailored proposals for clients.
  • Engage in technical evaluations (POCs) to ensure successful adoption of Nutanix solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide mentorship to new hires and peer colleagues, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product development and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage complex accounts and drive larger sales transactions effectively.
  • Achieve technical wins by collaborating with the presales team to meet customer needs efficiently.
