About The Position
Elite Workforce Inc is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for a 12+ month onsite position in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires a strong networking and telecommunications background with hands-on experience in configuring, integrating, and developing various telephony solutions including VOIP, SBCs, and SIP. The focus will be on Real-Time Communications, particularly with ZOOM/ZOOM Phone and Telephony technologies. Experience with Java/Python/Go concurrency/multithreading and asynchronous programming is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant VOIP/Telecom experience including software development, integration, and deployment. Experience with real-time communication protocols like voice, telephony (SBC's), SIP, QoS, DHCP, and DNS is essential, as is familiarity with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. A solid understanding of traditional or cloud computing technologies including Networking, Compute, Storage, Development, Data, Operations, or Security is also required.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience working across Infrastructure teams within large enterprise companies
- Strong networking and telecommunications background
- Hands-on experience in configuration, integration, and development of various telephony solutions including VOIP, SBCs, SIP or similar
- Focus on Real-Time Communications around ZOOM/ZOOM Phone and Telephony technologies
- Hands-on Knowledge of Java/Python/Go concurrency/multithreading and asynchronous is a plus
- Agile/Jira experience with daily stand-ups
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 6 years of VOIP/Telecom relevant experience with software development, integration, and deployment of complete solutions
- Experience with real-time communication that includes voice, telephony (SBC's), SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), QoS, DHCP and DNS
- Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
- Solid understanding of traditional or cloud computing technologies including Networking, Compute, Storage, Development, Data, Operations, or Security
