About The Position

This position has responsibility and authority for creating, troubleshooting, and supporting PowerShell scripts. It involves engineering support of the Windows server platform, including virtual server provisioning, and updating/managing documentation. The role requires providing root cause analysis for production outages, engineering support for Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and Sites and Services. Additionally, it includes engineering VMware and AHV using tools like Terraform and Ansible, researching and implementing industry security hardening best practices, and adhering to IT access-management and change control procedures. The position involves receiving and responding to escalations, building towards automation and self-service, and collaborating with team members to support IT strategy execution effectively. Staying abreast of industry best practices in risk management and integrating new methods is also key. The role provides engineering support for other technologies managed by the Server team, including Exchange, Azure, Proofpoint, Box, Logic Monitor, and Okta Single-Sign on and MFA, as well as enterprise monitoring. It also involves designing, documenting, building, testing, and deploying new or existing solutions and technologies.

Requirements

  • 7 years+ Systems Engineering experience
  • Microsoft Certifications – MCSE 2012r2 or above huge plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • SME level experience with PKI infrastructure – experience with public and private PKI infrastructure mandatory
  • SME level experience with SSO – experience with Okta mandatory
  • Power Shell Scripting level 5 or above (highly proficient), additional scripting languages a huge plus
  • Experience supporting Mobility a huge plus
  • Familiarity with Commvault, Netscaler, etc. is a huge plus.
  • Experience with Exchange 2012 or > and Exchange online, O365 Azure is a huge plus.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies
  • Experience with Azure and AWS (to include O365)
  • Familiar with IT Infrastructure Security principles and best practices
  • Familiar with DevOps best practices a huge plus

Responsibilities
