Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community, supporting process improvement initiatives, as well as supporting the lead DE/MBSE program expert. The successful candidate will support the Systems Integration team (SI) performing the following: Provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition. Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine appropriate resolution. Communicate with many levels of program, other contractors and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices. Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with systems integration on lC systems, understanding and demonstrated expertise supporting all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, experience with the RFC process, experience with training and best practices, experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

  • Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
  • Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working across contract and location boundaries.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
  • Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication.
