As Sr. Systems Engineer III, you’ll design and document end-to-end system architectures spanning software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future cross-functional requirements. You'll evaluate technical solutions and ensure compliance with open systems standards while analyzing workflows and organizational processes to recommend effective improvements. Requirements

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • BA/BS with at least ten (10) years of experience.
  • Experience designing system architectures across software, hardware, data, and integration layers.
  • Experience with multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) including migration, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Experience developing API-first and integration architectures to support interoperability across legacy and modern systems.
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/SAFe methodologies within large-scale IT modernization efforts.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and governance bodies to align technical solutions with mission, strategy, and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

  • You will design and oversee the overall system architecture, ensuring software, hardware, and communications components meet current and future functional requirements while remaining compliant with open systems standards (OSI, ISO, IEEE OSE).
  • You will develop high-level design diagrams, evaluate technical options and upgrades, ensure common operating environment compliance, and analyze workflow or organizational issues to recommend effective technical solutions.
