Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
Programming/scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python)
Debug techniques and methodologies
Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy

Responsibilities

Drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions.
Utilize software systems engineering expertise towards Product development, definition, and root cause resolution.
Work on triage of farm failures, contributing towards debug of EPYC and AMD Instinct products helping to expedite triage and debug throughput.
Drive technical innovation to improve AMD’s capabilities across validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional technical initiatives.
Debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
Design and develop APIs for integration using either Java or Python language.
Work with multiple teams, assisting test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time.
Work closely with supporting technical teams.
Engage in other software/hardware modeling frameworks.
