Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
  • Programming/scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python)
  • Debug techniques and methodologies
  • Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
  • Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy

Responsibilities

  • Drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions.
  • Utilize software systems engineering expertise towards Product development, definition, and root cause resolution.
  • Work on triage of farm failures, contributing towards debug of EPYC and AMD Instinct products helping to expedite triage and debug throughput.
  • Drive technical innovation to improve AMD’s capabilities across validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
  • Design and develop APIs for integration using either Java or Python language.
  • Work with multiple teams, assisting test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time.
  • Work closely with supporting technical teams.
  • Engage in other software/hardware modeling frameworks.
