About The Position

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Systems Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to: Act as a primary product owner of one of the scrum teams to build and deliver new capabilities for Visa’s dispute platform including new features, legal & regulatory requirements, domestic processing, API specifications, and technology advancement. Collaborate with sprint team for sprint scoping, planning, writing user stories along with acceptance criteria, clarifying doubts, and actively participating in sprint demo. Effectively use planning tools such as Jira to develop documents and to provide a clear vision for scope, use cases, workflows, wireframes, product requirements, acceptance criteria, and other materials as needed to support technical design, development, and QA activities. Ensure requirements issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved on time. Set and manage expectations of all stakeholders through effective written and oral communications. Effectively communicate plan, status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner. Contribute to development integration testing process to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and use case scenarios. Engage closely with the Product Managers and other groups to document non-functional requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers and technology to understand the product roadmap and contribute feasible ideas, which can benefit the program. Leverage industry trends to shape feasible functional solutions and process improvements. Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a systems analyst-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a systems analyst-related occupation.
  • Requirement elicitation tools for diagraming, mockups, trace analysis, rapid wireframing, prototyping, and collaborative UX design.
  • Working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools.
  • RESTful API design & experience with API Documentation Tool (Swagger).
  • Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Error handling & maintenance using MS Access Database.
  • Generating & managing reports using Jira Align.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity best practices particularly in identification & storage of sensitive personal information
  • Strong domain knowledge in payment systems, including Card Schemes and Open Banking standards.
  • Leveraging AI/ML concepts to develop innovative solutions in the payment disputes domain.
