Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs. Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Mid-level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems.
  • VMware architecture administration experience.
  • Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
  • Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Security+ certification
  • TS/SCI with a Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Hardware installation and cabling experience.
  • Monitoring tools.
  • Network experience (architecture, switch administration, troubleshooting).
  • AWS/VMs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system administration functions.
  • Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
  • Automate processes such as device hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, system monitoring of Windows and Linux servers.
  • Climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
  • Apply fixes, patches and upgrades in a timely fashion.
  • Troubleshoot server issues.
  • Administer customer accounts.
  • Deploy monitoring tools.
  • Deploy applications and tools.
  • Assist with escalated customer tickets.
