The Sr Systems Engineer will assist the Government with program planning activities. This includes generation and maintenance of the project plan, work breakdown structure, integrated master schedule, budget, program metrics, risk management, acquisition approach, execution plan, coordination with stakeholders, and S&T transition plan. The role involves planning, conducting, and executing quarterly reviews for all contract activities, preparing monthly Performance and Cost reports, and coordinating technical activities to ensure coverage of key tasks. The engineer will provide day-to-day support in managing ongoing program operations, tracking and reporting program execution status, and assisting with coordination and exchange of technical information with various stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves preparing program briefs and plans, coordinating meetings, overseeing the performance management program for project staff, identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and ensuring the quality of all work submitted for Government acceptance. The engineer will also anticipate customer needs, propose innovative solutions, align program outcomes with mission priorities, propose ideas for on-contract growth, serve as the primary client relationship manager, and support capture, proposal, and business development activities.
