About The Position

The Sr. Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, care, and maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment. This role functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures, specifically within a specialty service. The individual will utilize and troubleshoot service implementation and equipment. A key aspect of this role is the ability to scrub independently in orthopedic procedures, anticipate the surgeon's needs, and possess knowledge of the sequencing of surgical procedures, all while maintaining aseptic technique.
