About The Position
The Sr. Planner will work in Operations, specifically related to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, Network Capacity Planning, and Supply Planning. This role involves exposure to senior leadership and responsibility for coordinating initiatives across a cross-functional team. The Sr. Analyst will integrate manufacturing, commercialization, and supply planning activities over a 5-month to 3-year timeframe to provide business insights on mid- to long-term capacity. This will be demonstrated within the IBP process through Plant Site Reviews, Manufacturing Review, and Supply Chain Review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field
- Analytical mindset – ability to manipulate and analyze data to provide insights
- Microsoft Excel (pivot tables a plus, could learn, VBA a plus)
- Microsoft PowerPoint – able to put together basic presentations
- Writing skills – can write simple ideas briefly
- Listening skills – can listen well and take notes
Nice To Haves
- SAP experience preferred, but not required
- Power BI experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Facilitate IBP Site Review and Manufacturing Review meetings, including creating agendas, preparing PowerPoint slides, updating Excel documents, taking notes, and following up. These meetings will communicate the capacity outlook from 5 months to 3 years and drive actions to ensure Ferrara can support business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional meetings with stakeholders to align interests and drive organizational change.
- Perform ad hoc analysis in Excel to support IBP and Network Capacity Planning, documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
- Perform ad hoc work in SAP (training provided, minimal complexity).
- Improve data quality by participating in data clean-up activities.
- Create and distribute essential Operations reporting using SAP/Excel/Power-BI.
- Initiate supply chain projects through the project leader role.
