About The Position

L3Harris in Redmond, Washington develops and manufactures propulsion products used on satellites, space probes and other spacecraft. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team to oversee our assembly areas during our 2nd shift.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
Experience in leading teams building electromechanical hardware
Knowledge of fluid flow components (i.e. valves, regulators, PRV’s) and thermal control components (i.e. heaters, thermocouples, RTD’s) is a plus
Experience with gas flow systems (gaseous nitrogen and helium)

Responsibilities

Provide tactical direction to the assembly areas to support the needs of the business
Provide day-to-day direction for work assignments of staff, ensuring adequate skillset, up-to-date certifications and training, and necessary tools for job completion.
Partner with support organizations to maintain the flow of hardware through assembly.
Set the tone and culture for the area to align with the overall goals of operations.
Provide input for program planning for current or future business.
Provide input and closely monitor the established area budget.
Support the implementation of improvements in the area that are consistent with business needs, company initiatives, and capital investments for the area.
