About The Position

MKG is seeking a Senior Strategist to drive insight-led thinking across key accounts and new business opportunities. This role sits at the center of culture, consumer behavior, and brand storytelling, translating patterns into clear direction that fuels impactful experiences. The ideal candidate is a cultural observer and systems thinker, adept at turning signals into stories and insights into ideas, balancing rigor with imagination, and bringing both clarity and energy to the room.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in a strategy role at a creative agency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, collaborate, and guide both clients and internal teams.
  • The ability to command a room with confidence, demonstrating a strong presence in both client-facing and internal presentations.
  • Deep expertise in cultural moments, tentpole experiences, sponsorship, digital/social, and experiential marketing.
  • Proven ability to transform insight-driven strategies into impactful, measurable business results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex ideas with clarity.
  • Strategic and creative problem solver, able to navigate challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, with a keen ability to spot emerging cultural movements and opportunities.
  • Energize the team and clients with enthusiasm and levity, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience appropriate for senior-level strategy roles.
  • A proven track record of leading and executing successful, high-profile campaigns for demanding clients.
  • Expertise in brand marketing, sponsorship activation, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, driving business objectives through thoughtful execution.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work that exceeds client expectations in fast-paced environments.
  • Possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, staying proactive in identifying opportunities and delivering innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of experiential and integrated strategies grounded in cultural and consumer insight
  • Craft clear, inspiring creative briefs that unlock bold ideas and align teams around a shared objective
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizing findings into actionable opportunity areas
  • Develop go to market frameworks that ensure ideas are designed for amplification across channels
  • Establish KPIs and measurement approaches to evaluate and optimize program effectiveness
  • Partner closely with Creatives to shape concepts from early spark through execution
  • Lead client presentations, articulating strategic thinking with clarity and confidence
  • Identify cultural moments, behavioral shifts, and emerging platforms that create opportunity for brands
  • Mentor junior strategists and contribute to the growth of the broader Strategy discipline
